Priscilla Boatemaa Appiah
Founder and CEO
Priscilla is an education enthusiast with experience in NGO management, educational leadership, instructional design, curriculum research and teacher training. She has over seven (7) years of experience in the non-profit education sector locally and internationally. Priscilla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Economics, an Associate Degree in Managerial Economics and a Master’s in Public Policy from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy in Germany. Her contribution and commitment to addressing social justice issues in the Ghana education sector have been recognized internationally through the Commitment Award and Social Impact Award, Germany.
Ing Felix Adu Agyare
Advisor
Felix is a Chemical Engineer by profession with over 10 years of experience as a Process Engineer involved in the Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Operations Management of various large-scale infrastructures in the energy, power and fertilizer industries. As a practising engineer, he has a strong passion for people development and effective knowledge transfer for global impact. His role at Education 360 involves advising the Executive Director on strategies for organizational growth and scaling impact across Africa.
Prof Dr Heike Grimm
Advisor
Prof Heike Grimm holds the Aletta Haniel Professorship for Public Policy and Entrepreneurship at the University of Erfurt and served as Vice President for International Affairs at the University of Erfurt, from 2014 until 2020. She accomplished diverse research projects focusing on the role of entrepreneurship, start-ups, and small business promotion for sustainable development funded, among others, by the European Science Foundation, the European Commission, the German Federal Ministry of Economics, the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education, and the Haniel Foundation. Having witnessed the birth of the “EdTech for Special Learning Needs” project idea in her Social Entrepreneurship class, she has since provided directional leadership and professional consultation towards its success from 2022 to date.
Dorothy Oye Debrah
Country Coordinator (Ghana)
Dorothy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education Administration. She is a professionally trained teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience who has risen through the ranks of Ghana Education Service and is currently a Deputy Director of Education. During these years, she served in various leadership capacities as a local GNAT secretary, head of a department, school SHEP coordinator and external supervisor to the West Africa Examination Council, among others. At Education 360, she leads the local team in Ghana to realize the organisation’s mission and scale impact.
Christopher Kwesi Appiah
Communications Lead
Christopher is a professional communicator trained at the Ghana Institute of Journalism with over two years of experience delivering results-driven communication programs for change-oriented organizations. He previously worked for an organization that served the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) where he was responsible for developing and executing effective communication plans to promote events and increase participation. At Education 360, he leverages his expertise in public relations and content management to design, coordinate and execute communication plans to increase public awareness of programmes & projects.
Elvis Nuamah Ampong
Training Associate
Elvis is an Education Specialist with over sixteen years experience in teaching, coaching, research and teacher training. He holds a Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Cape Coast; Bachelor of Education in Guidance and Counselling at the University of Education, Winneba; Diploma in Basic Education from the University of Education, Winneba and Teacher’s Certificate “A” from the Presbyterian Training College, Akropong-Akuapem. He has been practicing as a certificated Counsellor for the past nine years and currently serving as the Bia West District Ghana Education Service Guidance and Counselling Coordinator. At Education 360, he supports the training department in providing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) services to partner schools.
Atigah James Bakem
Training Associate
James is a dedicated and accomplished professional teacher with a passion for education and a strong commitment to shaping the minds of the next generation. He holds a Master’s Degree in Science Education with 17 years of expertise in Educational Leadership and Instructional Methodologies. Complementing his teaching career, James has contributed his time and expertise to the Planned
Parenthood Association of Ghana, working to promote women’s reproductive health and rights. Additionally, he has volunteered for the World University Service of Canada, an organization that supports access to education and learning opportunities for
students around the globe. At Education 360, he supports the training department in providing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) services to partner schools.
Nimatu Siisu
Training Associate
Nimatu is a civic leader by training and a social worker by profession. She holds a BA in Integrated Community Development from the University for Development Studies, and currently pursing an MSc in Development Management at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Nimatu has been an activist for girl’s education and rural women empowerment for over 8 years, striving to make a difference in women empowerment and rural development through organisations such as CAMFED, URBANET and Greater Rural Opportunities for Women (GROW2). She is also a fellow of Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI, Ghana), Women Change Makers for Education and Common Purpose. At Education 360, she supports the design and implementation of programmes for Girls Education.
Paul Yennube
Community Engagement Volunteer
Paul is a student at the University for Development Studies in Ghana pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. Prior to this, he gained valuable experience working as a Pupil Teacher. He is passionate about creating a more just and equitable society by breaking barriers that hinder access to both education and health. At Education 360, he advocates for inclusive education for children with learning disabilities.
Daniel Amaavi
Community Engagement Volunteer
Daniel is not just a professional teacher, but a dedicated and passionate one. With over a decade of experience in the field, he has honed his skills and knowledge to provide the best possible education to his students. His commitment to his craft is evident in his innovative teaching methods and ability to connect with his students on a personal level. Amaavi’s enthusiasm for teaching is infectious, creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. Through his expertise and genuine care for the growth and development of his students, he has become a key member of the 360 Educators Network; mobilizing teachers towards a common purpose.
Michael Mensah
Community Engagement Volunteer
Michael is a pro-feminist, a public health practitioner with a specialty in reproductive health, child and maternal health. He is a Program Manager for Gender and Reproductive Health Advocacy Youth Network and mentor for Girls stand feminist HuB. Regional Deputy Regional coordinator-ActionAid Ghana, A member of the Youth panel advisory board of Plan International and volunteering to destigmatize learning disabilities in Ghana under the Education 360 EdTech for Special Learning Needs Project.
